Paele Haerehel (pay-luh)
King of Bourillia Haerehel
Paele, daughter of Yael, took over the newly independent kingdom of Bourilia after her father died. Yael tried to claim independence himself but was met with immediate backlash, which led to his death by Nim archers. Paele willingly gave away his location, as none of his family could tolerate his extreme actions anymore. While Haerehel's city was rejoined with Nim, Riyael eventually let Paele claim independence again. Seeing she was not a threat, he felt it was only right as Bourillia had developed far beyond a military fortress.
Paele and Vhou Riyael had their differences but he was distraught when she was executed in Eyiliv's War. Bourilia is full of outsiders, D'niri and humans alike. She has been fairly liberal with who can come and go in her kingdom, which has led to problems. Many wonder what her motivations for such leniency were, but she never gave a concise answer. This lack of oversight means her home grew full of smugglers and other shady activities, which continues today.
