Orc-Urr Aegis

The Orc-Urr Aegis is an organization in Eldurgrund that aims to protect both orcs and Urrfolk from the onslaught of their history, as well as provide them with any needs for survival (employment or land). It was formed by orcs in Uni Orvac Outpost, the southernmost town of Eldurgrund. Originally, it only sought to protect orcs until the establishment of a headquarters in Orovical.
Even today, it would be difficult to find Urrfolk in any locations that have an established Aegis presence, as they have lives much harsher than orcs under the Augury . Often being blamed for any problems that occur in isolated towns, they end up being hunted for crimes they didn't commit. In fact, it is not seen as a crime against the Ohdaufeen to slay Urrfolk, either.
In recent years, the Governor of Euvurcrest allowed the organization within the bounds of the city, where it now works with the Martro Union to ensure that orcs in the city receive consideration for employment. Merging ended up being a bit of a detriment to the union, as it caused 2 establishments to leave when they learned about enforced orc employment for the organizations involved.
The organization has helped elevate orcs out of the "orc quarter" within the shallow region of the mountains. The quarter that they wish to eventually overhaul entirely has an extremely valuable but dangerous mine within it, but operations have begun to slow as orcs seek out jobs of higher status, and no one wants to move back into the decrepit district.

Public Agenda

The aegis wishes to provide for orcs and Urrfolk alike with safety and economic prosperity, given their trouble in the past. They originally supported the construction of Vagrant's Lot, but have since distanced themselves from the project, given the increase in crime the district has brought. They also wish to increase the amount of participation in society by the Tribe of Goth Urah, but the tribe has not responded well to these desires.
