Abbot I
Baron Abbot (a.k.a. The Usurper)
Abbot I usurped Warren, the Chummer, but he ruled nearly as cruelly as his predecessor. His rule was defined by the Snow Rock Civil War and his defeat at the hands of Warren III. While he conquered the three western islands during his rule, it wasn't enough compared to the support of newly established towns and villages of the East. The largest island, Steirvem, had few water channels for Abbot haseti to utilize. They were poorly prepared for the long walks required in the battles against the forces of Warren III.
death
Abbot suffered a cruel death, with legends telling a highly romanticized story of a duel between himself and Warren III. When earthquakes struck the isles, creating a massive sinkhole in Steirvem, Warren III got the upper hand, throwing Abbot into the sinkhole. The fall didn't kill him, but he lay to rot for days. This hole became known as the "Wishing Well," and has religious and political significance to this day.Modern Influence
Abbot I plays a small role in modern mythology. Even his alleged granddaughter, Abbot II, has a robust role in certain human cults. At present, Abbot is merely remembered as a vicious obstacle to be overtaken by Warren III and reinstated the Snow-Rock Greats as a family to be revered.Relationships
