Sigrun var Valkra

Biological parent of Queen Althea Sigrunsdottir var Valkra né Draconis.
Born in the City of Nalkon, where her family has lived for several generations. The family fled Valkra about 120 years ago after a coup by some distance relatives who were determined to eliminate all legitimate claims to the Valkran throne.
Sigrun kept the "var Valkra" part of her name hidden and used a more traditional naming method, naming after her mother (in Valkran culture all but nobles name after a parent - males after the father, females after the mother, and only wizards or their family use patronymics such as "Draconis"). Therefore, she was known as "Estrsdottir". Only when someone in the family had children were they told the family history. Because of this Althea did not know her heritage until after her distant cousins tried to kill her.
Upon Sigrun's death Althea had a spirit-familiar show up named Jordan. This familiar can take corporeal form and is set to protect the family heir/elder from spiritual and magical attacks. Jordan is also a fountain of knowledge, so long as the correct questions are asked.

Jordan Manyhands
The family familiar, who is some kind of spirit, possibly tied to the Nation of Valkra itself. Jordan's exact nature is no longer known. He was bound by the Arch-witch Molworphi Draconuis von Dencon to serve the family line in perpetuity. Some theorize that he was a spirit of the land or kingdom itself.
Jordan is called "Manyhands" because he has four arms. Otherwise he appears as a thin humanoid about four feet (122 cm) in height, with a thin frame. He is unnaturally strong for his size, being as strong as the strongest human or Gnar warrior. He cannot be harmed by non-magical weapons.
