The Dry Between
The central area connecting the subcontinental regions of Slehea, Ondala, and Yaslon. It is made up of a wide variety of deserts, cold and hot, grassy and bare, sandy and rocky. The land is vast and difficult to cross, but various nomadic peoples make it their home.
Centaur herds pass all throughout it frequently, and use a central hot spring as their central meeting place for once-in-a-lifetime reunions when their paths converge.
Many Halflings make the colder regions their home, herding sheep and goats on the steppes. Their herd-based nomadic fellowships often double as merchant caravans taking goods between the three subcontinental regions.
Geography
Most of what little water falls in this area flows into the Golden seas in Yaslon or North to the Achican Ocean.
Ecosystem
If the local climates allow for any plants around here, it's most likely grasses and cacti. Things living in any area here need to be adapted to the dry and temperamental conditions. Lizards, scavenging birds of prey, grazers, burrowers, and many beetles make these places their homes.
