Head Conservator Wrivock
Head Conservator Wrivock Bosetorick (a.k.a. Jack (to his friends))
"Wrivock? You mean Uncle Jack? Yeah, he's up there in the Shining Tower. He comes down sometimes, he likes to give us toys and candies.
"Nickermancy? No, I don't think so. Is that magic stuff? I saw him do magic stuff once. Drommy - that's my friend, Drommy - He got cornered by a bandit last week. I think they were gonna make his parents pay for him, 'cause they didn't know his parents were gone. Anyway, Uncle Jack showed up and he uh... well, I don't remember what he done and Drommy don't neither. We just know that he used magic to make the bandit go away. He's a hero, and don't you say nothin' else!"

Personal history
Born an aristocrat in the Year 815, Wrivock took to studying the arts of magic at a young age. By the time The White Tower was founded in the Year 830, he was already a well respected arcanist and a local authority on Necromancy, quite a feat considering the culture of Prunyth. The word "prodigy" was bandied around quite often when referring to the boy.
He diligently worked among fellow archaeologists, gleefully recovering culture and magical writings bit by broken bit. When he was 35, he was at the White Tower when The College of Questions led a surprise attack on the Tower. He was killed quickly, staying behind in the courtyard while the youngest apprentices were hidden away in the catacombs below. An Inquisitor skinned his face as he lay dying.
In the aftermath, corpse-wranglers from Prunyth gathered the bodies, sorted the insured from the uninsured, and bundled them off for processing. Wrivock was up on his insurance, so he was raised as an Embalmed.
Once he had mentally recovered, he set about restoring the Tower as well as he could. Within a few short decades, he was nominated to be Head Conservitor by 881.
