Structure

The College of Questions is run in a military style. It is headed by the Witchfinder General. He has twelve Witchfinder Colonels at his command, who each lead their own companies. A company commanded by a Colonel has ten Witchfinder Captains, who command eight Witchfinder Lieutenants. up to twelve Witchfinder's Apprentices accompany these Lieutenants.
Additionally, Men-at-Arms patrol the College campus itself and stand ready for military incursions should they become necessary. Men-at-Arms operate in companies that reflect the Witchfinders', except the ranks are Colonel, Captain, Lieutenant, and Recruit. The Witchfinders are trained to fight as partisans, whereas the Men-at-Arms are trained as line infantry.

Public Agenda

The Inquisitors' goals are nothing short of the subjugation or destruction of all arcanists. They see the ability to touch magic as a power too dangerous for mortals.

There are just over 11,500 witch hunters in the Inquisition, with double that in Man-at-Arms companies.
The College itself is a large fortification with three separate keeps: The Barracks (where the Men-at-Arms stay) the College (where Witchfinders are trained and where they always have a bed in between journeys) and the Prison called Hexchain. Additionally, they maintain a number of secret safehouses that act as depots and temporary holding cells throughout the Confederation.

Disbandment

In response to an attack against The White Tower, The Brass Tower obliterated the first College of Inquisition. It wasn't until five years later that the Inquisition had collected enough personnel and funding to rebuild.
