Abide was a custom-built Rhakshasa from a batch of roughly six thousand. They descended on the infant Kobos even before the sentient races were brought there, to greet them and set them on the right path. While reinforcements do trickle in, their number has dwindled over time to dozens either through death by misadventure or reassignment to other worlds.
Abide was born in the caravan, inheriting it from his father and adopting his name.
