House Mílaukë (meel-OW-kay)

House Mílaukë is a noble house of the City of Umbar. It is dedicated to the Copper Dragon, Vraisos the Bright. As House Mílaukë is the house of the city's patron avatar, it has been historically very influential in Umbar's politics, in addition to having six Radiants come from its ranks--more than any other house.

Like all of Umbar's noble houses, House Mílaukë's Matriarch and Patriarch receive hereditary names upon entering the leadership of their house in addition to those given to them at birth. The Mílaukë matriarch is known by "Sekhmet" and the patriarch by "Ra".

In the year 5160 AW, House Mílaukë is led by Lady Nike Sekhmet and Lord Andreas Ra Mílaukë.

Of the 35 Radiants that have led Umbar since its founding, six have been from House Mílaukë, the most of any noble house.

1. Radiant Melíte Mílaukë was the city's 9^th Radiant, and the first from House Mílaukë. Melíte reigned from 4089 AW to 4118 AW, for a total of 29 years.
2. Ránia Mílaukë was the city's 10^th Radiant, serving immediately following the death of her aunt, Melíte. Ránia reigned from 4118 AW to 4149 AW, for a total of 31 years.
