Mangora Shos
Personal History
Mother of Hio and Gais. Was driven from her home when
Humi came and removed her forest and her clan "Shos". The humi would hunt and butcher them, afraid of them eating their livestock or (for those in the know) protesting the removal of their forest. The humi had come to her land because their previous home was consumed by the
Sohpes. After finally coming to an area not already claimed, she came to the cave exhausted. As soon as she came to the tree, she marked the forest as hers, to ensure her young could live.
Mangora was part of a pack south-east of
Prohweda , and were pushed out from humi cutting down her forest. (Spiorkalai are bound to a single forest (area arbitrary) so she must live in the rifts to keep safe from the sohpes.) While they were cutting down the forest, the slew her family, taking them as pests who would eat their livestock. She does not blame them, in her flight she discovered they too were driven from their homes. The sohpes had taken a highly abnormal path and consumed many of their own families, them still trying to recuperate. In their flight she was only able to grab two of her children, the other surviving members of the pack scattering to the winds. She ran and ran, finally coming to a rest in the caves outside prohweda. She had past many claimed forests, unable to find one to claim herself. It was only once she came to egress upon the land bridge of
Almut'alatl that she found the forest unclaimed. Her pups were starving, so she had to claim it to hunt without worry of another spirokalai taking vengeance. It was by chance that she came to this cave that lead to the fairy’s fountain, and to the tree she would first claim.
Personality
