The Temple of the Grasping waters is an elemental temple that worships the fierceness of the element of water, The oceans claim their due. The Oceans are universally referred to as the goddess Ayasha.
The servants of the temple come in four varieties. Cleric, Elemental Sorcerer, and pirate. The Pirates allied with the temple are Reef Sharks and carry out the Temples dirty business. Many businesses pay a tithe to the temple of grasping waters to avoid anything that might happen to their stock on the open water.
The Shelley Coats who keep the Crustasha at bay also answer to the Temple of Grasping Waters.
The founding cleric is an ex pirate. Maris Galdwell. His descendant Eris Galdwell. rules it now as a priestess. Supposedly she has been at the helm of the temple for several hundred years. She has found the fountain of youth off shore and has potions of immortality gathered from the spring.
Thusly many have tried to impress her and gain the elixirs for themselves. Eris has also been successful in terms of negotiating with the Crustasha that live on the The Wrackshore . Recently a semi intelligent ruler has come up amongst them who has lived a shocking twenty years Clustas Ra who wants more for her people.
