One of Iskaldhal's famed Witch-Tribes, and one of the most terrifying. They specialise in magics involving the land itself rather than directly targeting people, for the most part. Due to this, the name 'Witch-Tribe' is perhaps a misnomer - a number of the Saaru are actually shamans or druids who practice their variant of witchcraft alongside their coven.
Unlike certain other Witch-Tribes, the Saaru do not restrict their membership to exclusively women, though they are certainly matriarchal and female-dominated. Male members of the Saaru often take up roles as defenders if they find themselves incapable of practicing witchcraft - meanwhile, incompetent female members of the tribe are relegated to roles as servants to more powerful members, or are simply used as offerings in sacrifice.
