Sanomnis are an analgesics (an-al-gee-sics) commonly used within Isidoro. Colloquially shortened to 'Sanos', the main draw of these pills is that the combination of ingredients is suitable for all species in Isidoro.
Its invention changed the medical treatment world in an instant, no longer requiring medical practioners to house numerous different painkillers and hoping to avoid medical mistreatment if giving the wrong painkiller by mistake to the wrong species.

Utility
Sanomnis are used as painkillers; as such, they can be misused by taking too many for your size and weight. This is especially worrisome with Sanomnis due to the fact that the doseage is variable for the species. A human taking 4 at once is worrisome, and would lead to an overdose. If the dosages are followed and there is time between intake, Sanomnis is perfectly safe to be used.

- Do not take continuously for more than 10 days, unless deemed safe by a doctor
- Drink a full glass of water with each dose

Inciting Incident
Dr. Tari Gon was an employee in a hospital that witnessed an accidental overdose resulting in the death of a human patient only refered to as Smith Buck. Smith Buck was accidentally given 2 pills of a painkiller specifically made for dragon (if using this brand, the proper dosage for a human would be a quarter pill, or half at maximum). This caused complications and interactions with his pre-existing conditions and caused him to pass away while under the hospital's care.Research
The inventor of sanos is a Corvid named Dr. Tari Gon, who decided to work towards making an alternative NSAID when the incident reached the news. It came out during trials and interviews that the nurse had grabbed the medication where it typically was stored and swore that they had grabbed the correct container. It was found that the bottles of NSAIDs for all species were on the same shelf, had similar markings and colourations and had not been put back in the correct spot.Creation

One of the main selling points of Sanomnis is its ready availability and general affordability. It is incredibly common for families of all walks of life to have Sanomnis in their bathroom cabinet, or first-aid kit.

Average painkillers were not suitable for all species, due to the massive variences in weight and size. A painkiller for a dragon would kill a human if not halfed or even quartered. This made medicating at hospitals and having proper first-aid kits difficult.

Thank you so much! Yeah I was going to originally make it for only one species but after some discussion with people decided to go ham on it. Plus I don't have to use brand names in my story now : p
