Stealth Torpedo

The advanced phased array panelling used by the Navy of the PDRM to use stealthed torpedoes. While they will be visible if they fire their engines or get within a few light seconds of a ship or sensor platform, for most scouting or surrupticious delivery missions they can perform their goal admirably.
Essentially just a Torpedo that has had a large chunk of its fuel replaced by a small Pu-238 or Po-210 RTG and coated in phased array panelling that makes the torpedo look more like a small cloud of gas rather than a man made object, this torpedo is only rarely used. Its primary purpose is to carry either a comms platform, acting as a distributed set of hidden eyes to spot other stealthed objects, or to delivery small ( 80 cm cube ) objects to far off places discretly.
Launched from the standard coil torpedo launcher, nearly all the energy for its journey is imparted at launch, as it cannot easily perform burns, limiting itself to cold gas thrusters in <1 sec bursts. As such, if the launch is detected, its final destination can typically be guessed to within a light seconds, making this impractical for totally stealth operations, but for situations where it is difficult to find the objects, this is close to the best you can get.
Has a total of 200 m/s of dV and rougly 10 year endurance if it has a plutonium RTG, or 1 km/s and a 6 month endurance with polonium.
Being one of the few fields where the PDRM is signifigantly ahead of the United Nations, the PDRM uses these torpedoes sparingly, and always with strong self destruct systems to ensure they cannot fall into non-PDRM hands.
