Somewhere Between the Planes

Situated in its own pocket dimension between the Plane of Fairie and the Mortal Plane, this grand, ever-changing circus is run by the friendly and ever-mysterious Icarus Von Aburgheen, a High Eladrin originating from the Autumn court.

Entry

Through a large floating wrought iron gate sits a ticket booth, run by an older Goblin gentleman. He hands you an enchanted map that shows where the party members are at all times and a countdown in the top right corner for the next Lady In Lace Chase. He can sell you tickets and Lady In Lace wristbands:

• 1 ticket, 1sp / 5 tickets, 4 sp / 10 tickets, 8 sp / 15 tickets, 1 gp
• spend one ticket to get a magic wristband for the Lady in Lace Chase.

Attractions

Free Attractions include the Mermaid Grotto, the Bigtop Bonanza, Magnificent Margot’s Magic Show, the Carousel, the Talking Swan Boats, Bubble Rides, the Ferris Wheel, and the Freak Show. There is also a Bake sale for the local Orphanage (2cp per baked good), as well as food and drink stands of all sorts.
For one ticket each, you can partake in any of the following attractions:

• M.Y.O.P. - There is a wizard who's running a -make your own potion- stall. The wizard will help players make any potion they want at half price. Players can learn a recipe this way if they pay attention.
• Living tower - (Str/Dex) teams of (your party size) need to build the highest tower out of their bodies. All winners roll on prize wheel 1.
• Almiraj Ring Toss - (Dex) An almiraj, a small bunny creature with a horn like that of a unicorn, sits in the box. Player has to toss three rings at it.

• Catch the Dragon by the Tail - (Perc) Player is blindfolded as a faerie dragon flies around them and giggles. They get three chances to catch it. Catches roll on the prize wheel 1. Catches on first attempt roll on prize wheel 2.
• Insult Battle Contest - (Perf) This game sees the player going against a gnome in a contest of insults. The winner is the best three of five. Besting the gnome lets the player roll on prize wheel 1. If they win the game without failing a single check, the player gets to roll on prize wheel 2.
• Goblin Wrestling - (Athl) Player has to wrestle goblins. If player is small creature, they wrestle a single goblin. If player is medium creature, they wrestle two goblins. Player wins by successfully pinning the goblin (or one of the two). Winning gets you a roll on prize wheel 1.
• Guess the Number of Feathers - (Int) You get three guesses for how many total feathers are on the group of caged cockatrices. If you guess correctly, you roll on prize wheel 1. Guess correctly on your first try and you get to roll on prize wheel 2.
• Outstare the Cyclops - (Con) The first one to blink loses in this test. You roll on prize wheel 1 for winning.
• Test Your Might! - (Str) Ring the bell with the hammer. Three swings, if they ring the bell, they win a prize from wheel 1. If they ring the bell on the first try, they win from prize wheel 2.
• Moving Crystal - (Wis) The Great Gazpacho claims to have the fastest hands in the Feywild. He’ll banter and tease as he rotates three cups around on his wheel, saying that the small crystal ball is under one of the cups. You get two guesses!
• Ale, Ale, Ale! - (Con) Over the course of four rounds, contestants each drink an ale. If they fail, they immediately begin to retch and vomit everywhere, losing the competition.

• Extreme Pie Eating Contest - (Con) Pies were made by a Wild Magic Sorcerer. Each turn a player can eat one pie. If they fall unconscious or are forced to stop eating they lose. There is a cleric nearby to heal them of any injuries sustained. Last one standing rolls for prize on prize wheel 2.
• Lady in Lace - (Sleight of Hand) A greased pig dressed in a lovely lace veil is released into the crowd for the last hour, and everyone that got a bracelet can join in. Whoever can corral the pig and return it wins their choice of gift from the prize wheels.
• Fortune Teller's Tent - Fae Mystic Magdalyne runs this tent, giving out readings to any who enter.
• Foccini The All-Knowing Genie - A magically-powered war forged puppet fortune teller booth.
• Pixie Kingdom - A pixie named Jeremy Plum gives the players a Pixie name, then sprinkling pixie dust on them allows the characters to shrink into Pixie size. The characters enter the now not-so-tiny kingdom and play hide and seek with several other pixies.

Investigation

• An ominous large creature in a trenchcoat and hat can be seen wandering the carnival.
• A shady goblin wanders the darker parts of the carnival, peddling potions that are suspicious at best, but he doesn't seem to be related to the incidents in the territory.
• Unruly guests happen to go missing and it's rumored they're being fed to the siren tank, though the party could find no evidence of this.
