Satyr Camp

"Can you pass me some more wine and cheese, please?"
— random satyr at the monthly communion party

Worshippers of Damh

Pronounced 'Dav,' he is a lesser deity of dance, song, and celebration who is part of the Seelie Court. He is a patron and guardian deity of the satyrs, korreds, and atomies. He gives clans that follow him great boons, and he bestowed a sacred wine chalice that never empties upon this particular clan. Drinking from the chalice would make followers of Damh stronger, while those who do not believe would grow weak after drinking from it.   The nearby korred camp, while worshipping a different god, loved the same things the satyrs did and the two clams became fast friends until the Sealing Amulet of Vecna was gifted to the korred Chief. Distraught at the loss of his friends, people, and chalice, Magpie Frostyfluff, Elder of the Satyr Camp, reached out to the Duchesses of Feyport for help. Upon arrival, he explained to you that the Korreds have always been peaceful, and the two groups would regularly gather and party for festivals. But about a month ago they started making small sacrifices at their parties; something unheard of for their kind. Then the Satyr’s sacred chalice was taken, and after it went missing, their people started to go missing, too.   You investigated the korred camp and resolved the issue between the two clans, but gained more questions as to what is happening in this territory.
“There’s a handful of small communities in the forests surrounding Feyport. None of them are big enough to be considered towns or hollows in their own right, but they make an honest living out there and occasionally come into town to trade with the merchants. They’re usually very peaceful, but two of them as of late seem to be at war. The Elder of the Satyr Camp sought out council with me a few weeks back over a stolen item, but we more or less let them govern themselves. Then he came back a few days ago over some missing people and I told him the best I could do was to send a group out to him to look into it. That's where you come in.”
— Ignatius Creed, on the Investigation

Investigation

  • Elder Magpie reported the theft of a precious satyr artifact, as well as a handful of his people.
  • The Elder's suspicions that the Korreds were behind it was correct, but the Korreds were under the control of a mysterious amulet.
  • After freeing the Korred Chief and removing the amulet, as well as a number of terribly cursed artifacts, the trouble is dealt with and the Korreds, now free, return with the party to return the artifact to the satyrs and make amends.
