Inom

The Purple Paradise. Few have learned enough to know the name of this planet, and fewer still know its history.   Inom is a lush world, generally speaking. Jungles, rainforests, marshes-- even the poles are more taiga than tundra. And the trees, their leaves of lavender hue, grow tall. Of course they do-- no one's been around in centuries to even think about felling one. They've grown unchecked.   The fauna has not. There is none. No beasts roam Inom's wilds at all, perhaps destroyed in the same stroke that eliminated the people of Inom. Instead, the danger in the dead of night, the ferocity that leads women to build doors and bar windows-- these threats are split between unforgiving nature and capricious sapience.   But if there's one thing that none can ignore, that none can be so sheltered or myopic as not to notice, it's the ruins. They stretch across forest, plain, ocean, and mountain. The ruins of this great, planet-spread civilization form natural walls, premade infrastructure, neat divisions, and bounty from below.

Geography

Most of Inom is woodland, spread across six continents. Near the equator, one sees humid jungles and great swamps, while the poles preset taiga and icewoods-- where the trees grow from solid ice, seizing nutrients from the ocean's waves.

Fauna & Flora

All plant-life on Inom invested its genetic stocks in retinal instead of chlorophyll, providing the foliage with its hues of violet instead of Earth's green. The fruit tastes just as sweet, though. Even in the time since Inom's people vanished, there remains such a wealth of wild fruits and vegetables that every species that comes to Inom can find something that isn't toxic to them. Not the most realistic to have so many aliens eating the same food safely, but I'm not afraid to prioritize convenience over realism.   The ancient beasts of Inom are, again, dead as the people. The jungles are eerily quiet.

Natural Resources

Just about every resource that can be found on Earth, one can find on Inom. That's how temperate planets are.

The Age of Blockheads

197 BMF 1 BMF

The blockheads returned danger and disorder to the jungle (mostly western), unable and often refusing to integrate neatly with the other species. The Triad of Ash took its appellation during this time. This age also marks the return of any actual influence to the Brier for the first time in millennia.

The Age of Merfolk

0 BMF and beyond

The merfolk are the most recent species to arrive and they have, perhaps, brought the most progress to Anicoja, despite the chaos they too have wrought.
