Midnighter
The secretive daughters of the Navy Mother.
There's not much info on the Midnighters amongst the general population. They're a secretive and generally-hostile bunch, and expeditions heading out to meet or exterminate them tend not to return. When the average Anicojan is asked to describe how they envision a Midnighter, if they've even heard of them, they'll typically answer something like, "deep blue skin, wrapped in culty-looking tattoos and the robes of Death herself" before launching into some ghost story or other that she'd heard.
There's a reason that Midnighters aren't well known. They went down with Navy to the depths of some ruin and none were left behind. Navy''s spawn all live in the deepest depths of the ruins.
To refer to navy-skinned blockheads rather than the tribe they originate from, the term "navies" is used. More rarely, and solely by merfolk forgers, they are called "Prussians" or "Parisians". It's a dumb half-pun that ties them back to a world in which there was art to forge.

Beauty Ideals
The ruins aren't well-lit enough to justify beauty standards.
