Imperials

The Wizard Glass structures that originated in Imperias City are becoming more and more popular around all of Tenglan.
This article is controversial in nature, and Claytus Tome warned me not to proceed with my views, but the truth is the truth, and that's what you must learn.   Firstly, the irrefutable fact: Imperials live in the Eastern coastal region called Tenglan and are the most populous race on Lendor. (See map for more details)

Origins:

Now, to the controversial - the origins that archivians refuse to accept. Imperials are the ascendants of a race called humans - a species from the days of Old World who, like us, were formed of two genders (Male and female) and possessed a variety of skin colours and height variances.   However, for humans, skin colour differences were connected to the region one was from. Imperial skin tone variance is primarily connected to individuals Aurae Abilities with the colour darkening to a tint depending on the power fuelled. The skin of Sorce users always darkens as the body feeds on sunlight to fuel their blessed abilities.   This has always been the paradox of the The White Church and The Dark Church teachings. A Dark Church follower avoids the sun and becomes lighter skinned, whereas a White Church follower craves the sun and, therefore, their skin darkens. And, in the case of Sorce users, approach black.

Prejudice:

These Old World humans also used terms that don't exist in Imperial terminology. The term 'dwarf' was used as a way to describe the minority of individuals of a shorter statue than 'normal' people (Adults less than 4 feet). Those more significant than 7 feet were often called 'giants'. In Imperial terms, a giant describes Riktus warriors or the exceptionally large Imperials from the Northern region. For our society, the number of adult Imperials that never grow beyond 4 feet is so numerous that no additional word has been required. They are simply Imperials, no different from any other.   Human women were also regarded as physically weaker than men, with sports often genderised into male teams and female teams. No such distinction exists on Lendor, with both genders competing equally. One just needs to look at the Battle Balt record books to see that as many female balters as males have won championship belts. (Stats are taken before the Queen's ban on Imperial women competing in the Imperial Balt League)   The All Race League allows females, but since an Imperial needs to win the IBL belt before promotion to the ARL, it's impossible for new female Imperial balters to enter the Tremena. Fortunately, female Riktus and female Fein have no such restraints. The Imperial King Johan Ganay has attempted to convince the The Queen to rescind her ban, but she refuses his pleas.   This article is not meant to attack the Queen's controversial laws but simply to show the differences between ourselves and our 'human' descendants and to provide a better understanding of our true origins. (And do not blindly believe what you learn at school.) Despite Her Majesty's unpopular laws of 819AP, most agree she keeps to herself following the will of the people. This allows her to concentrate on the role ordained to her by the White Lord as one of the The 5 Guardians—her aim to stop the dark forces spreading and keep all Lendorians safe.

Border control of other races

  • Fein: Allowed entrance into Tenglan with permission from a Fein-approved elder. The only weapon they can bring is a ceremonial dagger.
  • Ofrak: No entrance is allowed, and only King or Queen Ofrak envoys enter Imperias City.
  • Riktus: Need a visa to work or a personal identity card with DNA records before they can access Tenglan. No weapons allowed.
  •

    Take the Challenge:

How can I preach such outlandish claims to our origins? Simple, I was born pre-Purification. Yes, that makes me as ancient as the Queen, and even though nobody believes me, it is still the truth. I understand my beliefs threaten the established archivian historical facts, but how many of them lived before year 0? Exactly, none. Even the relic Claytus Tome is a child in my eyes.
If you doubt what I say, challenge my words and let's see how you perform.
