Battle Balt Structure

All throughout Tenglan near a hundred Battle Balt stadiums exist, each varying in size depending on the Tremena they hold.   Small feeder arenas are used for up-and-coming warriors and unpopular One-Tier Balters with a maximum capacity of around a 1000 people.   Medium-sized venues house arenas for official Imperial League matches with a capacity of around 10,000.   The largest venues are used for Imperial League title matches and All Race League battles. The largest stadium is owned by the Queen housing around 45,000 people but used by the King for his All-Race League battles.   Cravinus Stadium is the second largest with a capacity of 35,0000 and used by Cravus Durone for IBL matches. Rumours claim a gargantuan complex in Drinden will dwarf all others on its completion.   The Riktus and Fein are newer to Battle Balt than the Imperials but already both races possess dozens of medium-sized stadiums. What their stadiums may lack in size is more than made up for by the passion of their rabs.   None can match the deafening noise Riktus supporters generate in a small enclosed stadium. The Fein rabs are less vocal but offer more raucous behaviour. Unlike the other races, Fein can bring their own blades into the stadium which causes carnage when their favourite balters lose. The forest dwellers just can't resist a good ol' fashioned bash up with their hand made wood carved weapons.

All-Race-League: (ARL)

The premier Battle Balt organization that manages events between the champion balters of all Lendorian races. Governed by four individuals. The Imperial King, Johan Ganay, the Riktus Queen, Alpha Ashborn, the Fein are represented by their army general, Krair, and the The White Church represented by Crusadas the Purity Knight Captain and the first Cardinal.   Unlike the IRL, the All-Race league is not a male-only event. Due to being partially governed by other races, the Queen's 819AP ban on women balters becomes null. Sadly, this doesn't benefit female Imperials who must first win the Imperial title before they can enter the ARL.

The Imperial Balt League (IBL)

The first and original organization managing Battle Balt. Current format is an all-male balter league, governed by Cravus and overseen by the Queen.
See History of Battle Balt for details of its founding.

The Riktus Balt League (RBL)

A multi-gender organization founded in 706AP that manages Battle Balt for all Riktus. All title and elimination matches are held within the Grask mountains. Smaller regional battles are held in various locations within Tsarkos Forest.
Any Riktus who win the RBL are awarded a horn full of essence and then immediately promoted into the ARL by the Riktus Queen, Alpha Ashborn.

The Fein Balt League (FBL)

The organization for the multi-gender Fein league was setup in 703AP. All title and elimination matches are held in Arin forest where one of the The 5 Guardians Titan Toryl and his Queen, Gwendalor lives. It is believed they only agreed to build stadiums because of General Krair's recommendation.   Toryl and Gwendalor are tree dwellers and not interested in the recent Fein movement towards ground living in which Battle Balt is based. For this reason, they have already left before the title bouts have concluded.   FBL title winners are rewarded a spirit bow (if an athlete) or essence-laced sword (If a warrior) by the King's general and then granted permission to enter the ARL.

The Ofrak Balt League (OBL)

The Ofrak were never invited to join the ARL in 720AP and nothing has changed in the following century but it is common knowledge they are desperate to participate and have even agreed to cease hostilities in Eristrad if they are allowed entrance. The ARL governing bodies don't trust them and have ignored their pleas.
