Gertrus Rosine's Balter Career

(The Imperial Females Last Hope)
Born in the Southern region of Ekri 783AP. In her early balting days she was known as the Ekri Tornado for her stamina and destructive bursts of energy with her Original blade. As age caught up with Gertrus, her speed slowed at the same rate as her belly girth increased. Fans began chanting a new, less gracious name - The Rosine Rhino.
But instead of cursing the fans, she embraced the chants and purchased a memblem with The Rosine Rhino emblazoned on the back and began wearing ever more skimpy clothes to embrace the beauty of her body. She decided to challenge the elite balters and and began a new training regime, reshaping her body into a slab of muscle, allowing her to fight as a warrior but with the speed of an athlete. The rabs loved her newfound passion and renamed her the Tornading Rhino.
In the twilight of her career, she won five-in-a-row and at the age of thirty-six in 819 was next in line to fight for the ARL Lightweight title. Unfortunately, the The Queen stepped in and banned all women from the Arena, thus prematurely ending the balting renaissance of the Rosine Rhino.

Rosine today

Now, in her fifties, Gertrus owns a popular balter shop called The Tornading Rhino, specialising in memorabilia acquired throughout the sport's long and prestigious history. She has read every book published on Battle Balt so is the ideal candidate to give her opinion on balters both past and present.

Later in Rhino's career, her strenuous training allowed her to pack on more muscle and not be intimidated by the mighty Riktus that tried to make her flinch at the face-offs. Here she faces Drabask the Nightmare and destroyed him in 97 seconds by Ko.

Rosine would effortlessly glide across the tremena using her Air Aurae ability.

The legacy lives on

Gertrus has been teaching her daughter Sara Rosine Balter techniques. Sara hopes that one day she can emulate her mum's achievements. Sadly, until the The Queen removes her 819AP ban on woman balters Sara will never achieve her dreams of entering the Tremena.
