Sun Eater Village
The Sun Eater Village is a settlement that's located near the north of Frxaken. It is the closest Reminian Hooman settlement to the surface. It is inhabited by The Sun Eaters.
Demographics
The village is made up completely of Sun Eaters. Due to their tight-knit community, it is extremely rare for Non-sun Eaters to join them, who would need to participate in a number of rituals to be even considered eligible to join.
Industry & Trade
Despite their guarded approach to other Reminian Hoomans, Sun Eaters engage in trade and collaboration with other settlements. Most common trade items are weaponry and resources they've hunted from the larger and more dangerous creatures of Frxaken.
Architecture
The architecture of the village is created both as a means to shield the Sun Eaters from the sun, as well as put a layer of defence against the dangerous creatures that roam Frxaken. Most buildings are made from stone, clay and heat-resistant alloys to help keep interior spaces cooler and are partially subterranean. Walls are layed, incorporating insulation to minimise heat transfer.
The settlement is built with communial living in mind, with many interconnected living spaces. The most reinforced and hidden space in the village is the nursery, where podlings and newly hatched younglins are cared for.
Common pathways and outdoor areas are covered to provide more shade and there are tall, smooth, perimeter walls to deter large creatures from breaching the settlement.
Climate
In comparison to the rest of Frxaken, the Sun Eater village is extremely hot, and almost unbearable for most Non-Sun Eaters.
