The Sun Eaters

The Sun Eaters are a group of Reminian Hoomans that live in a settlement closer to the surface level of Reminia. They are arguably the strongest and most formidable fighters and survivors on the planet. There are not many Sun Eaters in existence, with the settlement approximating to be around 30 or so inhabitants.

Appearance

Having been warped by the environment of Reminia, it is even more apparent with the Sun Eaters. With the average being 9ft for the Sun Eater, they can reach heights of up to 10ft.
Their pale skin has been scorched black in places by the exposure to the Reminian sun. The Sun Eaters will purposely dress in ways that will expose parts of their skin to the sun, to make specific markings and patterns.
The Sun Eaters have incredible strength and at times are strong enough to even take down Cragnon Shrimp.

Culture

Sun Eater Reminians enjoy fighting and take pride in taking down larger creatures of Reminia. They will commonly play-fight with each other and other Reminians, but are usually more careful with the latter.

Names

Sun Eaters only share their names with other Sun Eaters, which means most other Reminians don’t know their true name. Instead, they end up being given nicknames like “Sunny”. It is considered to be a high form of respect if a Sun Eater does tell a non-Sun Eater their name.

Diet

While they are still able to consume dirt, their diet is more meat-based as the Sun Eaters enjoy eating the creatures they’ve killed afterwards. They can cook simple meals with what they catch such as stews but they sometimes just eat the meat raw. After very successful hunts they like to make a small celebration of it, with the whole community coming together to prepare the food for consumption or for storage.
With what they can't eat, the Sun Eaters will turn the remaining materials various other things, like clothing, or armour and weaponry.
