An Edgevillian/Hooman (EH) hybrid is an extremely rare genetic hybrid of an
Edgevillian and a
Hooman, which up until the birth of
Ahriman in 107 AC, was considered to be an impossibility.
Since the existence of EH Hybrids is very new, there hasn’t been much research done into the subject, though it is of great interest and concern.
Appearance
EH Hybrids take on a mixture of traits from both species. They are usually monochrome and lack horns.
Hybrids have multiple eyes, however, the number of eyes doesn’t increase as they age. The most common number of eyes they will have is four at most, one primary pair and one auxillary pair.
Diet
EH Hybrids don’t like to eat rocks or dirt but will eat meat. They will usually take on an Edgevillian diet, consisting of meat, fish and plant matter.
Symptoms
It is currently unclear what long-term symptoms an EH Hybrid may have, however, they are likely to be afflicted with
Void Brain.
Their chances of being able to sexually reproduce are unlikely, however, it is unclear if they are able to asexually reproduce.
Reception
EH Hybrids are mostly frowned upon, and slightly feared due to their unsettling appearance. Some Hoomans believe that they are spawns of
The Void, or worse,
The Abyss.
While younglins may also be put off by an EH Hybrid's appearance, they are more likely to have a confused reaction, especially from features that may be missing, like horns.
