The Void

The Void is a location that hoomans believe is where the deceased go if they've done horrible things in their lifetime to the point where the stars refuse to look at them anymore.
According to scriptures from The Songs of the Stars, the Void is devoid of light due to the lack of stars. A lot of believers fear the void, as it means that they are denied acceptance and love from the stars.

Comparision with the Abyss

While non-hoomans get the two mixed up a lot, and there is overlap between the two, The Abyss and the Void are functionally different. The Void is devoid of most things and lacks the horrific creatures that are said to lurk in the Abyss.
