The Radiant Guard

Structure

The Radiant Guard is technically lead by the The Radiant, but she exercises little direct control over them, unless they have become suspect. Instead the Red Legion is Organized into smaller Orders, which are entrusted by the The Radiant to handle some specific task, mainly this task can be divided as follows:

• Holy Orders:
The Holy Orders are given the prestigious task of ensuring the stability and law of the The Radiant is carried out, and the loyalty of newly attained holdings, such orders will often serve as ruling bodies and advisors in such settlements.
• Sword Orders:
The Sword Order is the main military might of the Radiant Guard, they are the ones first called upon to carry out the will of the The Radiant.
• Watch Orders
The Watch Order are few and far in between, they are anonymous agents of the The Radiant, infiltrating families and guilds of under suspect, they are her unseen eyes and ears.

Order Structure

Each Order is made out of around thirty people, in some cases grand orders are formed of a hundred people. Though each individual order may have some variations in their power structure, generally they would be formed as follows:

Illustrious

The Illustrious is granted the right and light of the The Radiant herself, she is the commander of her local order and her authority is absolute within the order and outside it carries the weight of the The Radiant herself, though it is responsiblity that must be exercised carefully, for she is always watched by those who would want to highlight her flaws to the The Radiant and take her position.

Luminous

The Luminous is the next in command, and besides that the Luminous is expected to oversee the training, and assist the Illustrious in all her endeavors. The Luminous is typically chosen from a senior Bright Blade, who is deemed worthy by the Local Illustrious.

Brilliant

The Brilliant is the Quartermaster of the Order, and the direct liaison or active member of the Craftmen, they are reponsible for the order's golems and sentinels.

Bright Blade

The Bright Blade is the most senior Confligate, she is responsible for overseeing the training and coordination of the Confligates on a tactical level.

Confligate

Confligates are senior Flames, vertans and long served members of the order, they act as team leaders and commanders of small teams of flames, usually structured into teams of

Flame

Flames are members officially inducted into the order, they serve in what ever capacity is deemed necessary by their commanders, given their current task.

Kindle

The Kindled are initiates of the order, not yet fully fledged they are still in training and being evaluated by their superiors for service. Thus it is unusual, that they are trained in another order or by an older veteran and then send to another order with a recommendation, though they must still prove themselves to said order.

Public Agenda

To ensure the rule of the The Radiant is respected and obeyed, they are her foremost enforcers and where the banner of The Red Legion flies the will of The Radiant is brought.

Assets

The Radiant Guard can call upon the power of the Noble Houses of Rashim, The Golems of the Craftmen, and the mercenry forces of the Mortician.

History

The Radiant Guard was founded in the wake of The War for the Sacred Flame  , those who had been loyal to the Radiant were marked as members of her personal guard. Eventuelly this guard would swell with members of other houses and guildsmen who sought to bring honour to the households and guilds, eventually becoming a fully fledged military order in it's own right, one kept carefully in check by the Taifa Ziya Amk-Rashim Ifra Rashim The Radiant
