The Dharo are a species of humanoids in the
Helerin Archipelago. They are one of the
native peoples of the islands.
Physical appearance
Dharo stand slightly taller than
Humans, with males and females both averaging heights of a little over 6 feet.
Their skin is pale yellow-green and hairless, their eyes black, and their ears long and pointed.
Lifespan and growth
Dharo may live for 400 years or more. They reach adulthood at approximately 25 years old.
Innate attributes and abilities
A significant proportion of Dharo are able to use
magic, and most of these are drawn to the Talent of
Guarding.
Populations
Once widely spread across the islands of Helerin, the Dharo now live only on
Great Forbin within the
Nythrine Forest. The city of
Nythralla is now their only major settlement, and their population is much diminished.
Few Dharo venture beyond their realm, and none live permantly in the towns or cities of the
Newcomers.
