Court of the King of Remon

The Court of the King of Remon serves as the administrative and political heart of the Kingdom, overseeing governance, military strategy, and diplomatic relations.
Situated in the Royal Palace in Harsann, the Court is a complex institution comprising key advisors, military leaders, noble officials, and representatives from across the realm and beyond. Its members are tasked with maintaining the stability and prosperity of the kingdom while navigating intricate internal hierarchies and external relations.

The monarch, Dastan III, is supported by an array of officials, from the Grand Commander of the army to the High Vizier of the palace staff, ensuring every aspect of governance is addressed. The Court also hosts emissaries from other realms, balancing diplomacy with the kingdom’s strong sense of independence and martial tradition.

Tetton Kabbasann is the High Priest of Piatok at the Great Temple in Harsann, and the most senior priest in Remon.

Lord Reenamin

Lord Reenamin has been a friend and confidente of the King since childhood. He likes fine living and excess, and enjoys his status close to the King - a position he is very careful to maintain.

Lady Bellathan

Lady Bellathan is a learned scholar of history, and an excellent strategist. An ambitious political operator, Bellathan has worked hard to secure her position of influence.

Lord Merron

Lord Merron is the maternal uncle of Queen Rashan.

Military leaders

Grand Commander of Remon

Remon's armies are commanded by Lady Jurashan on the King's behalf. Jurashan was a hero during the War of Salvation, leading Remon's forces in the assault upon Amur Lefra.

Mistress of the King's Navy

Lady Tenatheen commands Remon's naval forces on behalf of the King. A competent and tenacious woman, she is well-respected by her subordinates.

Commander of the City Watch

Hothal Hoba commands the City Watch of Harsann. The man is a vicious brute, and very unpopular with the townsfolk.

Chancellor

Remon's Chancellor is the Boma Lord Lorroneen. Larger-than-life and fond of good living, he is a capable administrator and trusted by the King.

High Ambassador

Lord Harwis is the King's High Ambassador and spymaster. His knowledge and understanding Helerin's politics is unrivalled.

High Vizier

As High Vizier, Lady Korrinsal is the most senior member of Palace staff, and is responsible for the good order of the estate. A thoroughly-competent administrator, Korrinsal is also a savvy political operator.

Captain of the Palace Guard

Commander Forchamen is the Head of the Palace Guard. A superb fighter and a hero in the War of Salvation, Forchamen is a strong and exacting leader.

Court Bard

The Keeva Tolim Teshamon is the court bard. A skilled musician, Teshamon is also an ambitious and manipulative individual, hungering for power and wealth.

Page to the King

Ellim Korrinsal is the King's Page. The teenage grandson of the High Vizier, Lady Korrinsal, Ellim is keen to win favour and secure alliances that will help him in the future.

Handmaiden to the Queen

Kinra Merron is the Queen's Handmaiden. Daughter of Lord Merron, Kinra is kind and honest, if rather naïve and trusting.

Mistress of the King's Hunt

Terrava Nallamin is the Mistress of the King's Hunt and responsible for his horses. She is a skilled swordswoman, and excellent with a bow. Nallamin is blunt and abrasive, but respected at Court for her ability and good sense.

Norran of Remon

Gimaldan Lorr represents Queen Juna Berron and the Norran of Remon at Court. Relations between Remon and the Norran are often frosty, and Lorr is a spiky and difficult character, challenging to work with.

Vistrar of Gastranrar

Remon is the only one of Helerin's realms to receive a permenant emmissary of the Vistrar of Gastranrar. Prishar Yannamen is a warm and engaging diplomat.

Realm of Forbin

Forbin's ambassador is Lord Rassthar, a sly and slippery Keeva.

Seynan Islands

Jandan Orthamor is the representative of the Free Peoples of the Seynan Islands. A former member of the Island Council himself, Orthamor is a skilled and courageous negotiator.

Mar Mabon

Yarmannor Geffarinn represents the Mar Mabon Townships. A cool and considered diplomat, Geffarinn is well-connected and excels in his role.

Mar Miskun

Herkon Parranim is the ambassador for the towns of the League of Mar Miskun. A conniving schemer, Parranim seeks to advance his own interests as much as those of the League.
