Raech was born of the Artean Men. A hunter, tracking deer along The Caernavas River. Maarik the Bloodweaver took him as a personal slave. But Raech would not bow, even to a terror of Men. So, the Bloodweaver offered him immortality. Raech accepted. And became one of the Vampyre Men
But when he took the blood. Raech became drunk on rage, and blood lust. Rabid without a hope of control. Many human slaves and even Vampyre Men were slaughtered by his hand. With the Human casualties turning into Vampyres of his lineage. Rabid beasts without a soul.
Maarik the Bloodweaver saw a threat worse than the Werewolves created by Lycanthropy. But at the same time. Saw a tool with which to conquer the world. Maarik tasked his children and finest warriors with capturing him. And after years of tracking, and following one massacred village after another. They finally found Raech. Binding him in a device meant to hold him for all eternity. He was the first to wear the title that would mark others like him. He was the first of the Cazur Vampyres. The fallen. Them that are lost to their own bloodlust.
But in the end. Maarik permitted only himself to take charge of him. And to this day, no Man or Vampyre knows where Raech is hidden away. But many wise Vampyres fear when his shackles and restraints will break. Knowing that if that should come to pass. Raech would turn a horde of rabid death that would wash this world clean of life. Until the only thing left, is him.
