The Mother Tribe to all Tribes of Vampyre Men. The Tribe of Maarik the Bloodweaver when he first became a Vampyre. The tribe he founded by his nine progeny.
Made up of nine orders. Three born of the Womb of women taken by Maarik. And Six born of being changed by Maariks blood. Maarik bound them all together as a single familial unit. Then came the day that Maarik decided that his kind deserved a Kingdom of their own. And established The Kingdom of the Vampyres in what is now the The City of Vyrantis. And for over six hundred years, the Vampyre Men of Vyrantis carved out a bloody kingdom of Blood and Darkness. Until the Third Aeon, 788 Ellician Age. When the The Ellician Empire expanded Eastward. Liberating the Human slaves the Vampyres had taken. And on the 17th of Illuvas, the city was sacked by Ellician forces. The Human slaves liberated and risen up. And the Vampyres put to flight. Ultimately dividing into nine tribes.
Since that day. The Tribes of the Vampyre Men revere their time as a single people. Calling it the Time of One Lineage. The memory of this time, is a significant component in the reason for the maintaining of the single dialectical state of Vyric. The Language of Vampyres as spoken by Maarik himself.
