Nagashihoro-Do

The province of the throusand bridges has inspired many poets to idly stroll along the riversides, meditate under a cherry tree, or simply take in the gentle hills and plenty of lakes covered in mist in the early mornings. Not only has the landscape coerced artists into "the flower garden of Yashida," it has also become a very desired vacation spot for nobility over the last decades and it is said that the women of Nagashihoro-Do are blessed by Shiuyu herself, making them the most beautiful of all.

Geography

The North of Nagashihoro Province lays in the Green Mountains, a primary source of rice for the Western provinces. The rest of the province, however, mostly has lush flatlands with a few hills and plenty of waterways. Nagashihoro Province has more rivers and lakes than any other province and thus predominantly worships Shiuyu and her dragon form Hwajin .
