History
Gyongseong, initially a more or less important port town nestled somewhere in the North along the western riverside of the Bailong gained significance with the incoming caravans from the Samag Desert. With new spices and other goods from Shuina and later the unique medicines from Cao Caí, Gyongseong as one of the last towns with a direct waterway to the Golden Sea became a trading hotspot. It became lucrative, not only for the North Ganaesian caravans who now had access to goods from all over the world but also merchants from South Ganaesa and other continents now had easier and safer access to the North.
Soon, plenty of artists and scholars travelled North for inspiration and studying all the cultures that met in the streets of Gyongseong, and the town grew into a city.
