Arrondissement of Granmont
Granmont is split into 12 arrondissements, or districts. Districts are grouped together based on geographic proximity and shared culture. Most districts are subdivided into informal neighborhoods / quarters / buroughs.
Each district has an appointed Intendant, responsible for administration of civics including finance, police, and justice.
Downtown
Camino
- Fortune Hill: Location of Fulcrum Bank, Granmont Stock Exchange, home to Guild of Speculators and Guild of Lawyers and Advocates
- Newtown: Area of Camino constantly demolished and rebuilt with newer technology. Dominated by the towering Beaumont Building
- Promenade District: Region of Camino bordering lake. Countless shops, restaurants, and recreational activities available
- Broadstreet: The Suretry and Marchausse operate out of here. Also where Granmont Deliberator is edited and printed.
Oaktops
Carrier
- Cathedral District: Located of Cathedral of St Cateline, Beacon, Reliquary, and surrounding areas including Top-of-the-Rock Bistro
- Caberet District: Indulgent district known for it's host clubs, burlesque shows, brothels, and love hotels. Also has some well esteemed distilleries, smoke shops, and the Casino de Granmont
- Ferrypier: Carrier's waterfront, home to the Guild of Ferrymen
- Trollenkwartier: Troll-dominate borough that is friendly towards other large ancestries including ogres and onis.
Southside
Granmont's southside is generally less afluent than much of the city.Skirts
- Smalltown: Gnomish burough that includes other small ancestries including halfling, goblin, and kobold.
- Brick Bridge: Named after the bridge leading into Skirts, including Echande Market all the way south to Hotel de Montague
- Sepulcher Hill: Named for Baudelaire Military Sepulcher this neighborhoos has a heavy military heritage, including a large population of veteren gnolls
- Smoke City: Comprises the entire western end of Skirts, dominated by Smoke City Tenament Projects
Foundry
- Disassembly Row: Named for the line of the stock yard, butcher plant, and rendering farm, where livestock is reduced to meat and fertaliser.
- Minetown: Densely packed grid of homes where the workforce for Beaumont Mine lives
- Beaumont Hill: Known as Beaumont's backyard, the heart of Foundry and location of Beaumont Homestead and Railcenter
- Freefoundry: The least developed quarter of Foundry due to minimal Beaumont prescence.
