Personal history

In the age when the winds of fate stirred the very soil of Alathor, there rose a figure of unparalleled might and wisdom—Emilee, the First Chosen Empress, whose name would be etched into the annals of history as both a savior and a conqueror, a beacon of hope, and a wielder of unimaginable power.

Humble Beginnings and a Dark Encounter

Born in a small Maian village known for its unity and tranquility, Emilee’s early life was anything but serene. Tragedy struck when a marauding war party ravaged her village, killing her Father, Artur, and capturing her Mother, Emilia. Lost and desperate, young Emilee fled into the wilds, where destiny led her to a hidden cave. Within the dark confines, she encountered Olgos, a being of immense power imprisoned within the walls by the god Zun-1.   Olgos, sensing the latent potential within the girl, offered her a pact: in exchange for immense power, she would bear him a son and deliver the child to him. Emilee, yearning to protect her people and avenge her family, accepted without hesitation, unaware of the future burdens this agreement would entail .

The Rise of Labrilen and the Yeoria Empire

With the powers bestowed upon her by Olgos, Emilee returned to her village, no longer the frightened child but a figure of awe and terror. Her newfound abilities allowed her to vanquish her enemies, and soon, she became the leader of her village. Under her rule, the village grew into the city-state of Labrilen, which expanded further to become the mighty kingdom and later the seat of the Yeoria Empire.   This expansion was not through bloodshed but through what would become known as "The Quiet Conquest." Villages, city-states, and kingdoms were drawn to her rule, either out of admiration for the prosperity her governance brought or out of fear of the ever-growing shadow of the Aurorum Empire. Emilee’s empire grew without the need for war, a testament to her wisdom and the strength of the Harmonious Nakhasi philosophy she championed .

The Aurorum Threat and Alden’s Grand Plan

As Emilee's influence spread across the lands, the specter of the Aurorum Empire loomed ever larger. This expansionist force, driven by fanatical devotion and led by the enigmatic Zun-3, threatened to engulf all of Alathor in its wake. The leaders of neighboring nations—Kataria, Kyokuri, Virondia, and Helvania—pleaded with Emilee to intervene. Despite her reluctance to use her powers for warfare, the dire circumstances left her no choice.   It was at this crucial juncture that Alden Olamide, a visionary leader from Kataria, emerged with a plan. Alden, having traveled across Alathor and forged alliances with the leaders of threatened states, proposed a united front against Aurorum. His strategy was one of relentless pressure from all fronts, coordinating attacks that would stretch Aurorum's forces thin and force them into a vulnerable position .   With Alden’s coalition in place, Emilee took to the battlefield, unveiling her full power. The earth trembled and the sky darkened as she wielded the might bestowed upon her by Olgos. The Aurorum forces, who had never faced such overwhelming opposition, were driven back, and the once-unstoppable empire was brought to its knees. The coalition’s victory marked the end of Aurorum’s expansion and the beginning of a fragile peace across Alathor.

The Legacy and the Line of Succession

Though victorious, Emilee knew that her time was drawing to an end. The pact with Olgos weighed heavily upon her, and the birth of her son marked the final chapter of her mortal reign. She fulfilled her end of the bargain, delivering her son to Olgos, who ominously warned her that her life was nearing its conclusion. To preserve the empire she had built, Emilee convened a secret council, entrusting them with the selection of a successor who would continue the legacy of the Chosen Empress and maintain the stability of the Yeoria Empire.   Thus, the line of succession was established, a carefully guarded protocol that would ensure the continuity of Emilee’s power. Each successor would be chosen in their youth, guided by the council until they were ready to assume the mantle of leadership. However, they too would eventually have to fulfill the pact with Olgos, passing the torch to the next in line, ensuring that the empire and the mysterious bargain with Olgos would endure for generations .
