Sigur

Sigur is a small village that officially marks the furthest extent of the Vekhen Empire, and thus the beginning of the free lands of Gol-Kasha. The village is largely autonymous, surrounded by subsistance farms, with a small-scale service industry to account for a lack of travelling traders. In recent months, the Scofflaws' Guild of Siguar has been established, opperated out of Penka's Folly, which has been sponsoring expeditions into the wilderness of Gol-Kasha.

Points of interest

  • Penka's Folly, a large building at the centre of Sigur that was initially intended as a barracks and hospital for soldiers of the Empire, but was abandoned when their forces withdrew from Gol-Kasha. Named "Penka's Folly" after the Empress who commissioned its construction, the building now serves the dual purpose as a tavern for visiting adventurers, as well as the head quarters of the Scofflaws' Guild.
  • Sigur Community Gardens, a large garden built and maintained by Sere Watchwithe and the rest of the Scofflaws' Guild. The Gardens have served as a diplomatic "neutral ground" for peace talks between Clan Stonefork and the Dëbuii people in the past. Additionally, the Gardens served as the nursery for both Gourdo and Salgyk.
  • The Hall of New Beginnings, a pub constructed and operated by Urgen Boulderbeard. The Hall serves as a place for the Scofflaws to relax outside of the hussle and bustle of Penka's Folly, which has become the "staging ground" for forays out into the wilderness.
  • Camilleri's Grotto, a merchant's laboratory established in the basement of Penka's Folly, and accessible via a side entrance. Owned and operated by Taħżiq Camilleri, the store has served the community well with alchemical supplies that have proven vital on countless forays.
  • Up in Arms, a weaponsmith and mechanical workshop operated by Reuben Boulderbeard, which supplies the village with tools and metal goods.
