Enzel can trace his family back to Emperor Orlin I Vekhen of the 13th Dynasty via his father, Devesil Vekhen, and his grandmother, Atanas Vekhen. Enzel has two siblings: an older brother, Tzvetano Vekhen, 14 years their senior; and a younger sister, Samya Vekhen, 3 years their junior, who went missing in 22 BE at the age of 10 and is presumed dead. Enzel is the second cousin of both Dimitrinka Vekhen, and Empress Yordenka I Vekhen.
