Hobgoblin

Hobgoblins are a species of mortals that inhabit Harmony, and thus the world of Glüm. They are native to the Sustain, but migrated to — or rather invaded — Harmony in 1163 BE, establishing the Vekhen Empire in Syvat. They are very few in number within Harmony, with the vast majority of their number still within the Sustain, used as an imprisoned working class for the Hobgoblin aristocracy and warrior class that now rules the Empire. As natives of the Sustain, they are an offshoot of a species native to Harmony — Goblins — for which they hold utter antipathy.
