Major language groups and dialects

The Lurga natively speak Lurgish, a language sharing roots with both Drakish — from their Çengi origins — and a Proto-Syvattic language that likely predates Old Kaharn, believed to have been the language inherent to their people before coming under the control of the Conclave.

Culture and cultural heritage

Traditionally extremely insular, the Lurga trace their history back to the dissolution of the Conclave of the Gelek Çeng, choosing to become a tiny enclave within the larger Ihmisii controlled region of Gol-Kasha, as opposed to joining them or banding together with the rest of the Serednar. When the region came under the dominion of the Vekhen Empire, Ambra's Holt was deemed too primordial to colonise — in part, however unknowingly, due to raids by the Lurga — that they were avoided and subsequently "lost". The Lurga have since had little contact with the outside world, though from time to time members have left their communities, and they have taken in wanderers through their domain. This has changed significantly in recent times with contact formed between the Scofflaws' Guild of Sigur and King Arridhaios.
