Conclave of the Gelek Çeng

The Conclave of the Gelek Çeng were a political state that existed before the Disjunction on Harmony, comprised of several interconnected Dwarf strongholds. The Conclave was notable for being the only stable political entity that was able to form and survive before the Disjunction, even going so far as to thrive in that primordial world.
The Gelek Çeng were known to be learned in the ways of magic and artifice, establishing many of the conventions that would later influence the creation of Chorric as an arcane language. Despite this, they primarily spoke Drakish, and worked via Discordant, for they were known to be Dragon worshippers.
Though originally incredibly xenophobic, the Gelek Çeng began to work with other nations after the Disjunction as their society declined, being forced into trading partnerships with other groups, most notably the Ihmisii and Serednar. Despite all but fading away, the influence of the Gelek Çeng is still princibly felt in the Clanlaw, which remains in full effect since they first wrote it.
