Milkglass

Milkglass is the white-colored godglass that numbs pain. Primarily used as a medical aid, injured people tuck pieces of milkglass between their teeth to dull their pain. Using many pieces may also afford its user a sort of giddy high. Combat medics carry milkglass and cureglass in their packs, while surgeons use it during their surgeries. Patients who are fatally injured may simply be given a piece of milkglass to ease their passing.
STORY
In the ruined Grent Royal Glassworks, Demir Grappo and Idrian Sepulki find Master Kastora mortally wounded. He has several pieces of milkglass in his mouth to ease his pain, which he pushes aside with his tongue to speak to them.
When Braileer Holdest is wounded by the Flying Glassdancer, Glory tells Idrian that the godglass shortage means all he can do is give the boy a piece of milkglass and send him to the Dying Club.
