Infrastructure
Once just a logging town, its place at the mouth of the Chanomi river has made it an important spot for ships traveling the ocean or to Harcourt.

Guilds and Factions
The Mercantile Guild was created by the families that run the major industries of town. They use their combined influence to have a lot of sway over local politics.
History
Once a small farming community that lived in the shadow of a dark forest of magic origins, the Orphaned War forced Kaduna to develop all of its resources and Barrowmista began to harvest the giant trees on its border.
During the time after the war, Barrowmista became important to what was left of Kaduna. The people sheltered in needed wood to build homes and shelter.
One day, an elven floating castle controlled by an orc midwife of Luthic attacked the small community. It was the beginning of the quest that would turn three humble heroes into the gods of the New Divinity.
The city experienced great growth since the rise of the New Divinity. The ocean no longer being an active threat allowed for the people of Kaduna to begin to sail the oceans once again. While they have lost the knowledge to build vessels of old, smaller fishing vessels are now active.
Five years ago, Barrowmista faced what has become known as "The Late Unpleasantness". A series of murders rocked the peaceful town, and then a fire destroyed the town's church. The fire also killed the town's beloved priest and his lovely daughter.
Now a new temple has been built, and the town is ready to a celebrate.
Tourism
Every year, people come to Barrowmista for the Arrow Sunder festival. It is a mix of an archery competition and a beer festival.
The small city also has a number of inns and the Barrowmista theater.
Natural Resources
The Xijaab forest to the city's south is its greatest asset. Trees that quickly grow up to three hundred feet tall are harvested for the lumber industry, and that lumber is meeting growing demand of the shipbuilding industry.
