Honmosia, Goddess of Honor

Her Highness

"I am Honmosia, Goddess of Honor, leader of the Maiti no Jōnetsu Shogunate, The Great Dragon, defender of the Islands, Champion of the Garakuta. You may simply call me Honmosia."
— Honmosia, speaking to Björn Schild during her interview.
Honmosia is one of the four remaining deities, designed by the Creator fifty thousand years ago, at the beginning of time. Her job was that of Honor, laying down the foundation for the people of Maiti Shoganate.   Working closely with Ellara, Goddess of Morality, she helps lead people in the way of Honor and morality. Leading her country throughout the current age.   The Goddess has more experance than anyone, even her fellow gods can dream of, except for maybe Ellara, as they spend a lot of time together. Her forces and the forces of Alles Als Eins Heimatwelt were at the forefront of the Gods War, with Honmosia directly leading her forces into battle. Some stories still exist in Stepmor of the terror of the 'Monster of the Sea', with tales of Honmosia rising from the sea and decimating entire swaths of Stepmor fortresses with her Beta soldiers.

The Beta Teams

Early on in the Gods war, Honmosia saw fit to specially train soldiers who could keep up with her, as such, the Beta team was born. The first Beta team, Beta-1, or 'Rōringutaido', was comprised of 14 soldiers. After their first battle, only four of them survived. Starting the tradition of a four man team. This team would stay with her until the end of the war.

Physical Description

Facial Features

Honmosia has soft features, including a splash of freckles across her face, a smooth chin, and kind eyes. The only thing that sets the soft features off is the massive scar that is on the left side of her face, going from top left of her skull down to her left front eye. The scar also on the back of her head.
"Yes. I was chasing this murderer through the underground, when I lost sight of him. I came around the corner to get a blade into my face." She moves some of her hair, showing that, from the top of her skull, all the way down to her forward front eye, there was a massive scar. "It got stuck in my skull, so I snapped it and shot at him."
— Honmosia, speaking to Björn Schild during her interview.

Identifying Characteristics

One of the main features that sets her, and other Garakuta apart from most humanoids is her four eyes, and the set of crab arms directly on her back, which fold up like a birds wings, almost flush with her body, though not quite, as she has the Futoi tsume type, making her clothes puff out from the back of her body. She prefers wearing normal clothes and phasing through the fabrics. Her long and fluffy raven black hair goes down a little below her waist. The only time she puts her hair up is when she is at war, wearing her armor.

Apparel & Accessories

Honmosia wears a couple different outfits, some for war, some for business, and some for leisure.

Yukata

Her must usual clothing, the Yukata is a relaxed version of the Kimono she wears for formal events. Usually a solid color with some light golden designs. No shoes are worn, unless she's going far away from her palace

Kimono

The more formal clothing for Honmosia, the Kimono she wears showcases some of her godly power. Dark blue that seems to almost shimmer, like the deep waters of the ocean, and gold highlights that seem to glow no matter the light. With a thinner silk, similar to an undershirt showing around her collar, which is a bright red, blazing like fire. She wears a mempō, designed like a crabs mandibles, which twitch slightly when she speaks. Her shoes are sandles, though she doesn't bother with sandles that give her more height.

Karuta

Traditonal Maiti armor, made with leather, metal, and straps. Her armor is maroon red, though she has other sets. The armor has maroon colored leather, with matte black metal plates across the chest, shoulder pads, arms, and legs. The helmet is not as ornate as some officers, and is more flat, though she does have two of the small ribs off of the side of the helmet. She doesn't care as much about her armor looking fancy as she does her normal clothing.

Jeans and T-shirts

While not very fancy, Honmosia has gathered an asortment of t-shirts that she wears with jeans, and a pair of Heimatwelter combat boots. The shirts are mostly of Maiti Manga o yoyaku suru that she has enjoyed. It has become a big part of entertainment in Maiti in the last 300 years or so.

Honmosia's Corset

While she doesn't wear the magical corset, she does wear one nearly all the time, except when she is in her palace.

Specialized Equipment

As required by her own law, and traditions of the Maiti, Honmosia always has her personal katana on her person, no matter what she is doing. The Katana is an indicator of her rank, with the Goddess being the only one able to carry a blade with the goldish tint to it. There is a prayer inscribed in Maiti kanji, praying for the souls of the people she kills. The scabbard is black, and unassuming.
She smiles, patting the hilt of the sword sitting on her hip. "Loosely translated: Those who fall to me, and my blade. I pray your afterlife is calm, with no trauma. May you die honorably, and live with honor in the heavens of your god. The words hold less meaning in common, much like you Heimatwelters and your war cries."
— Honmosia, speaking to Björn Schild during her interview.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The entire history of Honmosia would take an entire library to tell, as she has had fifty thousand years of existance to do as she sees fit. Though some major points can be made.   During the War of the Gods, Honmosia and her people took a brunt of Stepmor's wrath, as they were just off the coast of Maiti. Many of the eastern towns were razed to the ground, with only blackened wood and burning embers remaining. While Honmosia was not as wild as Ellara, there were times she called upon her very powerful art, called Kami no sutairu: Uchū no kyōfu. Which assisted her in wiping out entire battlegroups of Stepmor soldiers. The ability would shatter the mind of any who saw it, even some of her own soldiers. As such, she rarely used it, and continues to do so.

Education

As a Deity, Honmosia has never needed education for simple things. She is well versed in many things, including sailing, cooking, tea brewing, tailoring, weapon smithing, architecture, medical fields of many types, construction, economics, diplomacy, engineering, and even astronomy. Anything she doesn't know, she is glad to learn it, sitting down with men of learning in any field.

Intellectual Characteristics

While the leader of Maiti, Honmosia is a headstrong, 'lone wolf' indiviual, sometimes angerly walking out of meetings with govermental officals, due to their lack of creativity. Some in the minority concider her to be childish, naive, and not a team player. Stubborn and untrusting, Honmosia has accepted this labeling, and even uses it to her advantage. She is very smart, and can pick up on small facial cues. Some of her people are slightly preterbed by how well she can tell what they're thinking, whether it's a lie, or them not agreeing with something that is said.
Her Highness? Yes, she's quite nice. Not a lot of people outside of the Garakuta meet that side of her. Most people meet the bureaucrat side of her. Or, if they're unlucky, the warrior side of her. But Honmosia is a...paragon, I guess would be the right word.
— -Shinohara Arei, member of Honmosia's Beta-9

Morality & Philosophy

While the deity of Honor, Honmosia doesn't feel the need to burden her people with a crushing amount of rules, as such she has given only a small amount of rules for her people to follow.   Highly emotional and sometimes rash, Honmosia follows her feelings over social, financial, or sometimes intellectual gain. Many times she will do something just because it felt right. Her sense of honor, obviously, has never changed, as even in her worst times she has still followed her guidelines.

Taboos

Honmosia has a long list of taboo things, but some of the main things include items about family, friends, respect, and the like.

Personality Characteristics

Virtues & Personality perks

Honmosia is a person who, when friends, are friends for life.
She follows her gut, and can quickly think of new solutions.

Personality Quirks

The Goddess has a habit of clacking her claws together when she's thinking or nervous, even when she's hiding them.
