North Orrólan

North orrólan1 is a general term for the different dialects spoken by the coastal Orrólans of Aam, the northern region of Orrs in northwestern Túlmikkía.

Writing System

North orrólan is written using an abjad called dlahe, which is derived from galkan hieroglyphs but simplified to make writing it down quicker.

Vocabulary

North orrólan in general contains a number of foreign loanwords not found among the desert tribes, with Dalran, Þekkalic and -to lesser extend- Húlpakric and Rexlas words being notable to the west, and Ynamok and galkan words being more common to the east.

1Original icelandic: norður-orrólska.
