Kralfí
Pakric: Kralfí /khralfiː~kʼralfiː/
Rexlas: Kralfí /khraːlfi/
Kralfí is a small city located in central Pakróalx, the northwestern province (alx) of the empire of Resak. It's one of, if not the most important religious site among the native Pakrans, even more so than Krelúta to the northeast as its significance goes back to prehistoric times in the region, centered around the Kralfic Oracle.
These shamanesses, associated with a local god of storms and divination, have been central figures in pakran history, mythology and folklore for millennia, giving prophecies to all those bring proper offerings, which in the past would have been a human or pardus heart, but nowadays a whole red cacao pod or cotton strips stained with the visitor's blood are the norm. During rainy days, the offerings are burnt and the oracle observes the smoke to divine the future, and in turn the visitor is expected to give a portion of their prize to the storm god's temple as thanksgiving.

Infrastructure
Most of the city's inhabitants live by the west bank, while the main temples, residence of the oracle and mansions are found on the east bank. The aforementioned mansions are a recent addition built by the Rexans who now rule over the pakran lands, as is the stone bridge spanning the river, located where an older wooden one once stood. The main market square is on the west bank, close to the bridge.
While the local architecture is notably plain for a pakran settlement, making the rexan residences look garish in comparison, the myriad statues found throughout Kralfí more than make up for it; made of marble, jade or metal and often painted and gilded as well, they depict heroes, ancient kings, athletes and other famous individuals who visited the oracle at some point.

Geography
Kralfí is located upon the upper Velx River, southeast of the town of Volfúl and northeast of the town of Gaxal. The hills east of the city have long been an important source of jade for the pakrans in the region.
