Atal-Ódolalx is one of the seven provinces (alx) of the empire of Resak, bordered by Apan-Ódolalx to the north, land of the Laxúlans in Zraxos Forest to the east, Akral Sea to the south, Grúmalx to the southwest and Kalixíalx to the west.
It covers the region along and east of the lower Noron River, where the South Hótics once ruled their own independent kingdoms and Ænateans had established colonies along the coast, before the Rexans integrated them into their realm after two centuries of war.
Atal-Ódolalx is a major producer of cotton, poppy seeds, gold and turquoise for the empire, and also has plenty of wild game such as hares and quails. Its main settlements are Hirtilis -the provincial capital), Hertama and Lúlx, and a number of forts are found along its eastern border as well.
Lúlgáak covers the northern part of Atal-Ódolalx, its main settlement is Lúlx. The county, as well as the city, are named after the native lúlgan tribe.
Mákáak covers the western part of Atal-Ódolalx, its main settlement is Hertama. The county is named after the native mákan tribe.
Þadrúláak covers the southern part of Atal-Ódolalx, its main settlement is the provincial capital of Hirtilis. The county is named after the native þadrúlan tribe.
