The Úrtal Sea2 is the northwesternmost part of Akral Sea and divides the continents of Emlas to the west from Laxilþía to the east.
Two major powers in Gætíus' World control most of its coastline, namely Dalra to the west and Resak to the east, while the northern coast is inhabited by tribes of Nalóxans, whose territory on the Nómek Plain forms a buffer zone between the two empires.

Úrtal Sea is home to a huge variety of fish, crustaceans, shellfish, octopuses, seals and sea-lions, whales and other marine wildlife.
