Úmxak
Úmxak is one of the four provinces of the kingdom of Sanx in western Emlas, and covers the southwestern part. It's bordered by the provinces of Fimix beyond the Únrí River to the north, Tebúfó to the northeast and Danre to the east, the Rerp Mountains to the south, Paróbax beyond the Vakní River to the southwest and the coast of Senfó Sea to the west.
Much of the region is covered in coniferous (particularly redwood) forest, with most settlements being located along the coast or the rivers, including the provincial capital of Lómaa to the south and Fjúx to the north.
The culture there is notably influenced by the Paróbaxi, who dominated the region for several centuries before being driven back by the Sanxeans after the former were hit by a massive earthquake and invading nomadic tribes from the Akna Plain.
Úmxak provides the kingdom with abalone from the coast and wild game from the woods.
