First daughter of the young King Alexis of Mandor, Raquel is good at everything she does and many would see her as the next ruler if her father didn't have other ideas. Raquel leads and serves her people with pride in all she does. Yet the same women is tricky as the court she serves and her tongue can injure more surly than her sword.

Personal history
Raquel was born to Alexis and Kendra before her father was broached as King of Mandor. As such she is the only one of his children that remembers the time before he was crowned. Kendra has only four full-blooded siblings but many half-siblings and step-siblings. Her closest sister Imora died from exposure to a disease called Death but she had been weak her whole life. Raquel's brothers both avoid her and her other siblings have intreated outside the palace. Because Raquel grew up under the strict guidance of her mother she has always craved to prove to her family she is worth as much as her siblings that were born with the knowledge they were the children of the King. She strictly controls how she presents herself to others and craves affection from her parents that took to ignoring her unless needed as she grew older.

Raquel has only ever been in love with one person in her life, her sister's wife but has not told her. This has also prohibited her from focusing on many other relations beyond the instantaneous. Sexually, she finds little interest in most people using it primarily as a tool to manipulate those around her.
Education
Raquel's education is more thorough than any of her siblings. Before she was Prime Princess she was educated strictly by her mother who insisted she needed to prove she could hold the responsibility. She was harshly punished when she failed which she didn't do often. By the age of 5 she had classes in the military arts, dancing, calligraphy, history, the sciences and maths, arts, and two languages beyond her own, the royal language and Selsecie. As she grew her schooling grew as well and she is by far the most well educated princess in Mandor.
