The pleasant place they call it. In the heart of the capital there is a palace called the Locus Amoenus made over centuries for the rulers of the great nation of Mandor. Grander and more beautifully lush than any other place in the world. Filled to the brim with history and art and flowers. There is a crux of culture like no other and all its corners have history and secrets. A please place they call beautiful and shining but not all that shines glitters gold underneath. Some times it is but the surface reflection.

Hosing the central government and acting as the center of Mandor. The royal palace acts as a center of redistribution and home to pieces of art and nature seen no where else in the word. Great minds, leaders, and other skills gather close to the hub that is created by the palaces heavy needs and supports

18 SM The First Ground: Maria's home was built

on the crux of the four territories formerly known as The Garden. Considered so beautiful that one kingdom could not hold it long before it was attacked for the treasure and has since been known as a place where all four could meet as none could claim it.
23 SM The Build: Considered more of a meeting place Maria's home was build around as her power and the Empire stabilized. These first buildings surrounded the home where the homes of friends. These can be found in the modern day royal wing where it and its garden rest. Only the Kings, Queens, and the Head of Houses of the represented owners may enter the buildings as they hold old secrets it is said.
62 SM Kyrinth's Garden: Kyrinth did not build a lot during her reign as she didn't wish to change what her mother made and so her only mark can be seen in her fascination with plants around the houses of Maria and her inner court. Wild plants and Tamed can be found in the paths both safe and dangerous, these garden where first named by Kyrinth as her Lyceum or haven and have come to be the name of the people who grew around Maria's chosen home.
120-128 151-152 199-233 SM Adēlaïde's Ambitions: Unlike the first two Queen's of Mandor Adelaide knew they where Empresses as they ruled over multiple Kingdoms. Her project to build a palace where sporadic and lacking funds on many parts but her three main projects did see some fruition. Her first project a throne room was built and the throne made for Maria was moved from Canyon Hall to it. This throne room was later made into a green house in the inner court of the Royal wing as the Place grew in size, called Adel's Court, there are many flowers bred for her in the green house by here mother Kyrinth. The second project was done underground called the Cave of Remembrance,
beginning with Maria, Adel carves out statues and Plaques for each ruler. All ruler's have since been buried there since their death and of all her projects she revered most for this. Spanning the longest period Adel attempts to build a palace with a consistent flow and large plans, though she never finished her long steady rule and willingness to elevate and admit her power clears the way for future Queens to build what Locus Amoenus is today, original called so by Maria though the official name of something else and mostly forgotten is tried as the palaces core name.
333 SM Bellona's Catle: Bellona was influenced by her parents and as much build the palace with that in mind making fortifiable architecture where her predecessor had not completed construction, it is because of her that the Royal wing is considered the safest and a castle instead of part of the palace.Also more arcetecturaly advanced in many ways as one of the few places made mostly of stone and built up instead of out. Until recently when glass wade made main part of the castles architecture.

Architecture
A mashup of old and knew the artecture of the palace is as various as it is lovely and astonishing. The best of everything with the most humble of beginnings. Everything from wood, to stone, to metal, to paper, and even more varied substances adorn the walls, floors and grooves of the palace. Some architecture defensive, some beautiful, and some just outlandish every part of the castle was built for something though that reason may have been lost or repurposed over the nearly four centuries it stood and grew. One main component above all others though are the pockets of gardens, the largest features of the castle. For over a milliania and sporadically over the years it has been a tradition that reach royal leave their mark on the palace in the form of a garden.
History
Not considered a palace still the reign of Adel the stories of the Home of Maria are varied and long. From the winding caves of the dead below to the towering defensive spires of the Royal wing and the era of building mostly lost consisting of paper walls. The palace is where two of the greatest figures in the world where born. Maria and Xexilia would not have called it the paradise as it was known by to the locals but they are the two who made it legendary. The building of the palace began only as a palace 200 SM well over two hundred years into the birth of the empire. Only coming to a close in construction for the first time about a thousand years later during the reign of the Saffron Queen as she could not longer build out with the surrounding city and geography. Renovations and such continued until the rule of the Brother Kings Hugin and Munin in 3000 SM when knew technologies allowed them to continue building but it is during the Great Greying 3330-3660 SM that feat such as the modern Throne room where constructed then the skills promptly lost the only knowledge not burned from the period the walls that where built themselves. The following years have other developments but the palace remains the same but for the addition of secrets and the deterioration of the peace its name once instilled the last of the will to fix this dining with the reign of King Bellerophon who left his beloved Neptrue Knights to protect his subjects and home
