Houses of Mandor
Houses are the foundations of Mandor and have been since the empire began. All citizens of Mandor have a house and will for the rest of their lives but not all houses are the same. Mandor the first house is the house of royals while other houses are new and founded within the current generation. Notable houses are the Waring 10, the original 17, and the branch houses of these two groups include the Orphani house were all lost are found and Servanti(Karnian) are the children of the goddess Kar and become faithful servants of one master.
Structure
Houses are organized into a scribal system by age, magical power, and number after first book for family. Families rise and fall in power based on many factors such as branch families, individual achievements, connections, age and power itself. Though no house is considered better then another on paper but that has not remained the case through the years since the houses where made.
Culture
Every house has a different culture including their house colors, words, features, traditions, and so on each house is unique.
